- Organised by Southland District, who with a large
network of over 5000km of road realised the importance
- f low volume roads.

- At the end of the workshop it was stated just how much work it had been to
- rganise – Looking for volunteers to run again in 2003
- Ian Stenberg from Beca and REAAA stood up and offered to take responsibility
for the event under the REAAA umbrella and we are still there today
