• Held right here at the Ascot Hotel – and the main

reason we are back again 20 years later

• Organised by Southland District, who with a large

network of over 5000km of road realised the importance

• f low volume roads.

• At the end of the workshop it was stated just how much work it had been to
• rganise – Looking for volunteers to run again in 2003
• Ian Stenberg from Beca and REAAA stood up and offered to take responsibility

for the event under the REAAA umbrella and we are still there today
