- Breast Screening - women age 47 -73 every 3
years.
- Bowel Screening- Everyone age 60-74 every 2
- years. People age 55 + invited for one off bowel scope
- Cervical Screening – Women age 25-49 every 3
- years. Aged 50 – 64 every 5 years
- AAA Screening – Men age 65 – 74
- Diabetic Eye Screening – every year for people
with diabetes

Specialist Epilepsy Nursing Team
The Specialist Epilepsy Nurses are; Steph Miragliotta , Debbie Harris and Andy Dorney and work jointly with HPFT Doctors Future Plans;
- Epilepsy audits carried out by HPFT and Epilepsy Nurses
showed that extra work needed to ensure home risk assessments are in place
- Future Nurse led Epilepsy Clinics to run alongside HPFT
doctors as Steph Miragliotta and Debbie Harris both completed their Nurse Prescribing course
Working with our local hospitals
- Recent Serious Incident at Lister Hospital
- Learning from this led to changes in hospital procedures with
PEG Feeding tubes
- New Support Worker roles in Hospital Specialing Team to
provide additional support to patients with learning disabilities in hospital
- New Admission Pathway for people with learning disabilities
who need investigations under sedation
- New QE11 Ambulatory Care getting their Purple Star Strategy
award December 21st.
