WORKING THROUGH THE VISION – PLAN A - EXTEND THE BUILDING

  • Plan A - extend existing building and move central staircase to rear.
  • 6 months of “wasted” work.
  • Estimated build costs - £575,000
  • Cheaper to knock down building and rebuild!
  • Market value of expanded building £465,000 versus current value £315,000
  • In Oct 2016 LivingStones directors prayerfully abandoned the idea of extending the

building and moving staircase.

WORKING THROUGH THE VISION – DEC 2016 TO DATE

  • Vision group had identified what God was saying to us and we had to explore if there was still a

way to make it happen.

  • LivingStones undoubtedly needs refreshing and to re-engage with the Christian community in

Fleet.

  • Financial projections showed that without some major changes LivingStones would die!

REQUIREMENTS FOR A REFURBISHMENT

  • New-look shop facelift with extensive rebranding.
  • Fully refitted building with all new furniture and fitments.
  • Stock focus on most popular product lines and stock that will attract people into the shop.
  • Establishment of a Drop-In zone on ground floor.
  • Creation of multi-use Community Rooms and Kitchen
  • Hot-Desk Business Suite on top floor, with shared resources.
  • All facilities freely available for use by the local Christian community –YOU!
