LBS has about 350 members Universities:
Vilnius University, Vytautas Magnus University, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Kaunas Technology University etc.
Research institutes: Institute of Biochemistry, Institute of
Biotechnology, Institute of Botany etc.

Conferences - since 2000 biannual conferences for the
biochemists working in all the fields of biochemistry
Education – National pupil academy; Lithuanian centre of
non-formal youth education – extramural school for young biochemists;
Promoting science – Taking part in preparing science fair
“See differently”; Project “LBS potential to promote Knowledge society”; promoting science through TV, news portals, radio etc.
Giving feedback to science – defining biochemical term
dictionary; Book “50 years for Lithuanian biochemical society. Dates, events and people”
