City of Tucson’s Brow nfield s Progra m

Encouraging in-fill development through the revitalization of blight and underutilized properties… Brownfields redevelopment spurs economic benefits and revitalizes surrounding areas. With the City’s continued downtown revitalization efforts, brownfields sites are assessed, remediated, infill is accomplished, historic roots are revitalized and the pristine desert is preserved…while providing a healthy, sustainable environment.

The City of Tucson has received over $3 million in Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) grants.
