TV Recording • Electronic program guide (EPG) with XMLTV (source: yle.fi or katso.fi ) • Scheduling based on the EPG: – single program recording – repeated recordings based on the program’s name • Safety time-padding (start recording 5 min earlier than EPG time, stop recording 5 minutes later) • Automatic TV commercial detection when recording, skipped when watching (based on black frames) MW/LDD/2006/Leffakone 2
