develop holistic skills & experiences to compliment one's university education. Additionally, they provide a myriad of supports to student living.

What is Foundations in Leadership?

Foundations in Leadership is a tiered Leadership Development Program

  • Bronze: ‘Foundations in Interpersonal Communication’
  • verbal and non-verbal communication skills: emotional intelligence, constructive feedback.
  • Silver: ‘Foundations in Problem Solving and Conflict Management’.
  • critical thinking, problem-solving strategies, effective conflict management tactics
  • Gold: ‘Foundations in Group Work’
  • how to interpret, support, and manage group dynamics
  • Platinum: ‘Foundations in Leadership Style’
  • reflecting on different leadership styles and discover one's own & how to collaborate with other styles

What a class looks like

  • 10 hours in-class
