A little about AFA Insurance

• Insures employees through collective agreement or through company signed

insurance

• Is owned by The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise (Svenskt Näringsliv),

The Swedish Trade Union Confederation (LO) and PTK-the council for negotiation and cooperation

• Does not seek to generate a profit, no dividends are paid to the shareholders
• Has a commission to prevent occupational injuries and promote health and

safety

• 150 million SEK to research
• Analysis and statistics –Unique database with 13 million claims
• Offer the IA-system free of charge for insured companies
