LIGHTING UPDATE

- EXTERIOR – All exterior lighting (except for the existing Washington Globes at the
playing field and the existing bollards at the west edge of the school site) are full cut-off downlights with 3000K or 3500K lamping.
- DOOR LIGHTS – Recessed, cylindrical sconce, and surface mounted
- downlights. At egress doors lights will be on all night.
- PATHWAY LIGHTS – New Bollards on occupancy sensors, Existing Bollards
connected to timer and turned off when building is unoccupied
- STEP LIGHTS, POLE LIGHTS - connected to timer and turned off when
building is unoccupied. Will turn on in an emergency
- PLAYING FIELD LIGHTS - on their old schedule, because they are not circuited
through the school.
- INTERIOR LIGHTING
- Classroom/ office, gym, multipurpose and library: off when the building is
- unoccupied. Select “Emergency” light fixtures will turn on in an emergency.
- Main corridor, stairway and hall lights have limited select fixtures that
remain on as emergency lighting
