Intention for School Year 2020-2021

This is the year for building community. In order to do this we need to understand the needs of our community, communicate effectively about those needs, develop plans to support those needs and follow through on our commitments to those plans.

Community

Our goal is to build an inclusive community with trust and kindness as the foundation

Our first step is to Launch a caregiver survey to understand needs and wants within the community This will inform how we are building:

  • Ways to connect our families to each other
  • Social and educational programs
  • Events and meetings at times that work for best for our community
  • Effective communication to reach everyone and to keep all informed about what’s happening in our community

We want to hear from you

We need King Arts caregivers to complete the PTA Community Engagement Survey! A link to the survey will be distributed next week via email. All caregivers will have 2 weeks to complete the survey. It is important that everyone take the time to complete the entire survey. This will help our executive team understand how best to deploy resources. All feedback will be confidential. A summary of findings will be shared with the King Arts community later this fall.
