15

slide-16
SLIDE 16

Where we want to be

  • Increase participation levels (clubs and schools)
  • Comparable level of participation in urban with rural clubs where

urban clubs will have enough players to play at their own age grades

  • Help develop specific coaching pathways within clubs for players

and mentors

  • Develop structures to facilitate information sharing and best practice

within regions

  • Regional teams where players can play meaningful games within

their own age groups internal county and cross county games

  • Competent coaches: Better qualified coaches by achieving GAA

Mandatory Coaching Standards for club and Kildare inter county team coaches

  • Better organisation structures in place delivering

the programmes to increase participation and performance levels of our players, coaches and teams
