  • Each registered participant receives a “Bib”

with a “Bib Number” and a “D-Tag”.

  • The “Bib Number” is how we track them in
  • ur timing system in the “Family Reunion/Kid

Pick Up Area” after the race with our “Claim Ticket System”.

  • The “D-Tag” is what gives the participant

their actual race time.

  • The “D-Tag” and “Claim Ticket” are on the

front of the bib.

  • The “Bib” must be affixed to the front of

the participant’s shirt – no child (or adult) will be allowed into the Kids Staging Area without a “Bib” affixed to the front of their shirt.

Bibs, D-Tags and Timing

SLIDE 6
  • For

an accurate time, the child Must Remove The D-TAG from the BIB and AFFIX IT SECURELY to their shoe.

  • No D-Tag on Shoe = No Time!
  • Timing starts when the participant crosses

the start line, so no need to push or jockey to the front.

  • This also means that the order they cross

the finish line May Not Be The Same As The Posted Results.

  • Please watch the YouTube Video we posted

at www.kidsruntheoc.org under the Event Day tab for instructions on how to attach the D-Tag to the shoe.

your child’s emergency contact information (including cell number).

  • Please remove the “Claim Tags” to be able

to retrieve your child in the Kid Pick Up/Family Reunion Area.

  • After your child has finished their race,

they will enter a secure area to receive fluids and snacks and proceed to the secure Family Reunion/Kid Pick Up Area and be sorted according to bib number.

  • Parents

should proceed to the Parent Waiting Lines and follow the directions of the security guides to retrieve their child in a civilized and safe manner.
