PM’s SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME Aimed to support prof degree level education for two wards of war widows (all Ranks) and ESM(PBOR) Max Scholarships – 4,000 per annum Rates of Scholarships: (a) Rs 24,000 pa for Boys and Rs 27,000 pa for Girls Disbursal of Scholarships in last three years: 16 Apr 2015 KSB SECTT 16

GRANT FOR ORGANISATIONS/ESM • War Memorial Hostels for wards of Attributable and Non-Attributable Casualties • Cheshire Homes which taking care of Leprosy, Mentally Handicapped, Chronic Spastic & TB Patients • PRCs helping in rehabilitation of Paraplegic Soldiers and ESM • St Dunstan’s After Care Organisation Dehradun which provides after care services to blinded ESM • Provision of Grants for ESM – Rs 57,500/- for Modified Honda Self-start Scooter – Rs 8,000/- for purchase of Tool Kits 3/11/2016 KSB SECTT 17

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO STATES • 75% and 60% Central Share for RSBs/ZSBs in NES and other States/UTs respectively • 50% Central Share for Construction of Sainik Rest Houses in States/UTs • Matching Grant for Amalgamated Special Fund used for Welfare Schemes of States/UTs 3/11/2016 KSB SECTT 18
