Programs/Services Offered KANA KANA is conducFng weekend training programs/events and presentaFons which includes IT & So_ware training, Project Mgmt., Higher & Junior educaFonal programs, College course selecFon, Financial planning, ImmigraFon, Social Welfare and Healthcare. Operational Plan KANA • Services will be provided thru Website/Facebook/ WhatsApp • Training/other informaFon sessions will be conducted thru online sessions using WebEx • Services/Volunteer OperaFons commiUee will reach out to contributors and schedule the sessions/programs. • At the end of the session, survey will be sent to evaluate the impact of the programs and services. • KANA will be serving nearly 900 families in USA & Canada. Executive Committee/ KANA Board of Directors Execu,ve Commi@ee is the governing body and responsible for overseeing organizaFon’s acFviFes. All BOD members are seniors with diverse profiles and various backgrounds; Passionate and experienced in community outreach that aligns with our organizaFon’s vision and mission. BOD are council of elders with vast experience and various required skill sets. Responsibili,es of the Board of Directors: • BOD will set the tone/direcFon and ensures that KANA operate to its fullest capacity & potenFal • BOD also engages in grooming and developing of next generaFon leaders • BOD closely works with steering commiUee and other operaFng commiUees • WriFng/modifying bylaws, establishing the goals and direcFon. • Responsible for long-term planning/short-term assistance on crucial issues. KANA Managing/Steering Committee Responsibili,es: • Defining organizaFon’s Goals/ObjecFves/Programs/Services/AcFviFes • IdenFfying and RecruiFng operaFng commiUee members. • Select/Hire/Purchase tools, applicaFons, persons, agencies or consultants that will be required to complete the tasks (Website Dev/Maintenance/ Financial/AccounFng So_ware etc.). • Raising funds/accepts donaFons necessary for the organizaFon expenses • Developing public relaFons and communicaFon methods for organizaFon acFviFes and future plans. • Manage the planning and the operaFon, provide all necessary guidance and direcFon to operaFng commiUees • Responsible for managing membership acFviFes, creaFng framework, delegaFng, monitoring responsibiliFes, and forming commiUees. Regional Coordination KANA Committee Each Region will have one Regional representaFve and States with more than 10 families will have one state representaFve.
