Executive Committee/ Board of Directors

Execu,ve Commi@ee is the governing body and responsible for overseeing

• rganizaFon’s acFviFes. All BOD members are seniors with diverse profiles

and various backgrounds; Passionate and experienced in community

• utreach that aligns with our organizaFon’s vision and mission. BOD are

council of elders with vast experience and various required skill sets.

Responsibili,es of the Board of Directors:

• BOD will set the tone/direcFon and ensures that KANA operate to its fullest

capacity & potenFal

• BOD also engages in grooming and developing of next generaFon leaders
• BOD closely works with steering commiUee and other operaFng commiUees
• WriFng/modifying bylaws, establishing the goals and direcFon.

• IdenFfying and RecruiFng operaFng commiUee members.
• Select/Hire/Purchase tools, applicaFons, persons, agencies or consultants

that will be required to complete the tasks (Website Dev/Maintenance/ Financial/AccounFng So_ware etc.).

• Raising funds/accepts donaFons necessary for the organizaFon expenses
• Developing public relaFons and communicaFon methods for organizaFon

acFviFes and future plans.

• Manage the planning and the operaFon, provide all necessary guidance and

direcFon to operaFng commiUees

• Responsible for managing membership acFviFes, creaFng framework,

delegaFng, monitoring responsibiliFes, and forming commiUees.
