  2. Information and advice on best methods that are listed and known Football Quebec has prepared this document based on information available to date and drawing on various sources of information, including that of public health authorities. The document will be updated regularly as the situation evolves. It is a guide used to refer members to a safer return to activities. The purpose of this document is to provide information and advice on best methods that are listed and known. However, each organization member of Football Quebec is responsible for assessing the risks in its particular environment and for establishing appropriate safety procedures to minimize these risks, while following the advice and instructions of health authorities, governments and owners and operators of the premises that will be used for holding sports activities related to Football Quebec. It is essential and it is up to each individual to assess their personal risks in consultation with health professionals and to determine, in a responsible manner, the result of their decisions and actions. 3

  4. BEFORE, DURING & AFT ER T H E ACT I VI T Y • At each training or activity, everybody must answer the self-declaration questionnaire. • Wash your hands before and after the chosen physical activity. • We suggest having instant hand sanitizer. • Participants should avoid touching each other in the face and neck regions. • No physical contact of any kind: no handshake, hug, high-five, etc. is not allowed. • Equipment and footballs must be disinfected at least before and after use. • We suggest wearing a mask and gloves for all personnel who have contact with players. Take a shower and wash clothes when you get home. ** Please refer to the details relating to the current stage of the Football Quebec recovery plan for more information. 5

  5. Ratio – it is advised (but not mandatory) to keep the training groups smaller to properly control the "safe training bubble". The rules on the number of people allowed in a gathering must follow the rules in force at the local level. A SAFE TRAINING BUBBLE IS: • Limited number of participants, ideally, always the same players together • Always the same coach for a determined group of players • Avoid allowing group change for both coaches and players • Groups are fixed from training to training. A coach cannot be in charge of more than one group of players. • Coaches need to think about how they are going to show the educational to their players in order to respect social distancing. 6

  6. • The coach plans and hands over his training plan in advance. • Do not arrive at the training facility more than 15 minutes before the scheduled start of training. • Players must arrive at the field already in training gear. • All athletes must leave the facility as soon as possible after the end of the practice. 7

  7. The sports facilities used to play football are shared by several types of users every day. Associations must take cognizance of and apply the recommendations of owners and managers of facilities. The members of the board of directors of each association, and each coach, must know and apply the operation applicable to the place where the association will resume or hold its activities. Everyone will need to know the important security elements to communicate to players. It is essential to harmonize the messages to communicate together. The owner of the land is responsible for presenting his own plan for the reopening of his facilities. It will be his duty to make it known to you. 8

  8. Preventive health measures for workers in the leisure, sports and outdoor recreation sector 9

  9. During practice: • It is essential to keep calm. • The person should be immediately removed from the training group. If a person experiences symptoms during activity, the person should be isolated in a pre-established location and end the practice • ocal public health authorities should be promptly informed. Get the details of your local office in advance https://www.msss.gouv.qc.ca/professionnels/documents/listedirecteurs- santepub.pdf Between training (before or after) • If you have symptoms related to Covid-19 • Go to your local public health authority or hotline for more advice about testing for Covid-19 to get tested. • Isolate yourself for 14 days after the onset of symptoms or diagnosis to avoid spreading the virus to a wider population. • Notify the person responsible for your association as soon as possible. • If someone in your organization advises you that they have symptoms or that they have been diagnosed with Covid-19. • Notify the public health department in your region. They can provide you with recommendations that may include additional testing and plan contact tracing to assess the likely spread of the virus to a larger population. https://www.msss.gouv.qc.ca/professionnels/documents/liste-directeurs-santepub.pdf • Thanks to your rigorous presence, trace the people who rubbed shoulders with the potentially infected person during the practices. • Notify these individuals that an unidentified association member has symptoms or has been diagnosed with Covid-19. Ask them to place themselves in voluntary quarantine for 14 days to avoid spreading the virus to a larger population Suite • Invite them to go for a Covid-19 test at a health facility or designated clinic, especially if they have symptoms of Covid-19 10

  10. Resumption of training after declaration of case • Have you been in contact with anyone carrying Covid-19? Self-insulate for 14 days. If there are no symptoms, you can start the authorized activities again. • If you have had symptoms, before resuming activities, the association / organization must receive a medical certificate attesting that you are fit for a return to training. • Here is the link to consult the list of public health departments by region: https://www.msss.gouv.qc.ca/professionnels/documents/liste-directeurs-santepub.pdf 11

  11. In these difficult and at the same time different times, the words perseverance and adaptability will be decisive elements to ensure the success of our recovery plan. 12
