CRIME STRATEGIES • Special Assignment Team works to target career criminals and gang activity, along with Quality of Life matters. • All team members are search warrant trained and certified • All Members are assigned to a Reporting District • All members are assigned to identify known criminals in their reporting district, to monitor crime trends and other concerns • Community Based Policing plans • Strengthen the ties between Law Enforcement and the Community • Increase in citizens reporting criminal activity • Identifying and reducing crime trends

OPERATIONS / ONGOING MISSIONS Operations:  2 - Probation / Parole Compliance Checks  8 - Search Warrants Served  17 - Firearms Seized  10 - Operations Plans  4 - Neighborhood Watch and Community Area Watch Meetings  7 - Community Events Ongoing Missions:  Deterring narcotics and gang activity.  Theft from Autos, unlocked cars, and commercial burglaries.  Continued Probation / Parole checks and monitoring known criminals.

PROBATIONERS / PAROLEES  Number of Parolees in Rosemead  69 (Compliance checks completed every one to two months)  Number of Probationers in Rosemead  15 (Compliance checks completed every one to two months)  Number of Sex Registrants in Rosemead  51 (Compliance checks completed every quarter)

CRIME TRENDS  Crime(s) affecting Rosemead and neighboring cities  Residential/Commercial Burglaries  What are we doing to eradicate it?  Increase patrols in affected areas  Undercover surveillance operations  Area Watch/Neighborhood Watch programs  Network with neighboring law enforcement agencies to gather intelligence and new ideas  Enforce Laws including municipal and county codes when applicable  Meet with Crime Analyst to gather data to identify crime patterns
