A VERY AMBITIOUS VISION The Community Leaders Fellowship (CLF) envisions a powerful social movement built primarily on individuals’ hearts and minds (software), and which does not depend solely on developing material assets (hardware). The Fellowship envisions an influential network of leaders, in which each individual lives and evolves the New Economy principles of resilience, carrying them across age, gender, race, class, and geographic location. OUR MISSION The CLF seeks to create leaders that will lead a project and/or live and work within the New Economy principles of individual and community resilience. The Fellowship is based on the value that the nurturing of an individual’s heart and mind - through education, capacity for reflection, emotional intelligence, and capacity to dream without limitations - is the most resilient investment that can be

  • made. In addition the Fellowship is also based in the strong belief that anyone can be

supportively guided into becoming a leader in the New Economy movement.

FELLOWSHIP CHALLENGES What is an equal exchange when considering privilege? Developing the software may not be enough. Challenges of diversity in day-to-day work Future growth: one size fits all vs. individualized attention to fellows Funding for sustainability
