Pollution Recovery System
Designed to remove oil and chemicals from vessels lying on the sea bed in very deep water without using divers. Currently depths of 500 meters can be obtained and greater depths down to 4000 meters are envisaged. Artificial island constructed to place environmentally sensitive materials. Disc cutter developed for removing polluted materials. Trailer suction hopper dredge with modified suction pipe arms for collecting surface oil.

Innovation, Engineering & Development
Concept designs are currently being engineered to excavate material and place protection at depths of more than 250 meters below sea level
John M. Waring SNAME Presentation – Calgary 2010
Pipeline trenching is now possible in seabed soils with UCS values up to 30 MPa in harsh metocean conditions and environmentally sensitive areas. Hard soil is normally dredged by means
Special drag heads (ripper drag heads) are developed for large Trailing Suction Hopper Dredgers for the dredging of harder soil.
