Issues from 2013 to affect Cane Supply 2014 Season

  • Factory Issues that affect cane supply
  • Factory Breakdowns – Minimal long stops this year.
  • Maintenance stops prior to bin make – getting rarer
  • Maintenance stops after bin make that affect overnight loadings –

still some impact 1 or 2 events

  • Longer Factory cleans than forecast. – getting rarer
  • Cane Supply Issues that affect factory operations
  • No early morning cane – Can’t supply bins for bin make - Good
  • Unfilled bins – Can’t turn around bins to fill required loading – hardly

any

  • Low Bin weights – need greater bin turnaround, can’t tip fast enough

– excellent bin weights this year

  • Short Billets bog down Shredders reducing rate causing slower bin
  • turnaround. – Work on A Shredder has reduced impact.
