Rugby has to be about the players, it has be about enjoyment, players should have confidence to play and in their coaches, position specific training should be available, there should be cover for all positions, training should improve skills, players should be able to be critique themselves, players should ‘buy in’ to training (see the reason/benefits), players should be able to ‘solve’ playing/training situations, game management/T-CUP whatever you call it should be part of it. There must be a way of stopping the brain drain of talented coaching.
