The OiRA Project
- Goals
OiRA aims to:
- Contribute to the ‘development of simple tools to facilitate Risk
Assessment (RA)’ (Community Strategy 2007-2012);
- Develop and promote practical tools to help Micro and Small Enterprises
(MSEs) to put in place the RA process;
- Help demystify the RA process among MSEs;
- Build a critical mass of social partners (EU and national), governments,
public institutions interested in developing and disseminating RA tools tailored to the specificities and needs of European MSEs.

OiRA in numbers:
- 128 OiRA tools have been published, 28 are in progress and 63
sectors covered;
- The OiRA community is composed of 16 OiRA national partners and
14 EU sectoral social partners who develop EU tools for their sector;
- 44,167 accounts have been created since August 2011;
- 64,324 accumulated risk assessments have been carried out with OiRA
since August 2011;
- 80,328 guest accounts (test users) created since March 2016;
- 12,426 visits to OiRA website;
