PoC Grant – USD $ 47,050 To conduct a survey to determine their suitability for solar micro-grids in Kenya; to test out the various designs for the PowerBox structures and installed two solar micro-grid systems. Impact: Installed over 20 m i c r o - g r i d s a f t e r P O C financing; secured $1.5 million as a repayable grant from AECF; and hired over 39 employees and currently expanding into the Tanzania market.
