• 2 Years Physical Education (must pass test)
• 1 Year either LOTE or VPA
• Electives to reach 210 credits
• Pass CAHSEE English & CAHSEE Math

A-G REQUIREMENTS

• 2 Years Social Studies (Must include: World, US, Political Behavior)
• 4 Years of English
• 3 Years Math (Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II,

(4th recommended)

• 2 Years Lab Science-Biology,Chemistry (3 rec)
• 2 Years LOTE (3 recommended)
• 1 Year Visual/Performing Art*

PLANNING GRADES 9-12

• Students are enrolled in 6 courses grades 9-11, and 5 courses in

grade 12 which in four years should exceed the 210 credits needed for graduation.

• All students can complete A-G/ College Prep courses in 4 years
• ESMS semester grades assist in 9th grade course placements –

Finish your 8th grade year STRONG!

• Students can expect 2 hours of outside study daily.
• Freshmen do not need to take summer school prior to 9th grade

in order to complete the A-G /College Prep sequences of courses.
