Guiding principles • The Industry contribution is a NEW process for all stakeholders. • PPO serves as a bridge in connecting Industry teams and the platform awardees • PPO serves both the IC and the Proposing team • IC requires a clear understanding of design goals, product specs and capability timeline • Proposing teams requires a clear understanding on product availability (not exact dates) and feasibility view on proposed capabilities • PPO needs to understand the % value of the IC contribution against committed value of contribution • Define short term goals (like signing LOI and contracts) and work in progress items (like lock down requirements, specifications etc) clearly and separately while flagging any linkages

  6. Consortium-Platform interaction points 1. Initially, triage interactions through PPO 2. Introductory webinar presentations with both platforms 3. Individual interaction(s) scheduled by PPO 4. PPO has a holistic view of platform requirements 5. PPO is working on matching requirements to IC members, beginning with NI, Juniper, Nokia, and Keysight

DOs • Establish clear goals and deliverables for the IC and Proposing teams • Establish POCs from both sides for technical discussions • Enable direct conversations between the 2 teams • Output from IC to the Proposing team (and PPO): • Initial output: Feasibility of product availability • 90 day view: Forecast on product availability and volume guidance • High level % contributed per platform against the total contribution (accounting mechanism- tbd) • Create a tracking framework for IC- Proposing teams to track product delivery and forecast along with any deltas • Output from the Proposing team to IC (and PPO): • Initial output: • Feasibility analysis materials- Platform design and high level specifications for feasibility analysis along with product capabilities targeted. • High level timeline for the product delivery and deployment timeline • 90 day view: • Detailed platform design with capabilities • Bill of Materials (BOM)
