  6. 2015 Use of Force Data/Racial Disparity Review • Factors: race, resistance, weapons, drugs/alcohol, EDP, UOF • Findings: • Some variation in type of conduct engaged in by – and force techniques used on – African-Americans and Whites • No discernable difference in level of force used against individuals in these groups when engaged in similar conduct • Force was objectively reasonable and in accordance with law and FCPD policy • Recommended additional study of data to identify factors contributing to disparity in incidents involving African-Americans • 2019: Conducting review of 2016 UOF data and seeking research/academic partner to study UOF and other police activities 6
