IRIMO services 1- Air quality

• Air pollution is the main problem of mega cities
• Observation of air pollution in cities is doing by

national Environment Organization and megacity municipalities and IRIMO

• Forecasting of the air quality is doing by IRIMO
• Range of forecasting is up to 5 days

IRIMO services 2- Severe weather prediction

Early warning Is issued in city and regional scales for I. storms, II. heat waves,

• III. Cold surge,
• IV. heavy snow,
• V. flash floods,
• VI. floods and droughts

IRIMO services 3- Nowcasting

For issuing a nowcast we use: latest radar, satellite and observational data and considering of small-scale features of phenomenon like thunderstorm, heavy shower, flash flood and destructive wind

• Nowcasting is a powerful toll for reduction of private, public

and industrial property damage and saving the life of people

• Nowcasting of hazardous weather for aviation in terminals
• r en-route environment, marine safety, water and power

management are part of the routine activity of IRIMO.
