3.2 Written Project Report (Team)

Group assignment

  • The assessment of the group part is based on a written

group report. The report includes a description of the challenges the students faced, the decision-making points and of the ways they addressed them. The report includes a description of the team organization and of the specific contributions of the team members.

  • The report should be 10 to 15 pages long + annexes.

The report may be shorter if additional specific deliverables – prepared in the course of the project – are annexed to it. Report and annexes are provided to the originator of the case.

  • 1. Challenges identification

– Description of the innovation or entrepreneurial case and context (project, companies, etc.), as well as relevant and significant innovation or entrepreneurial challenges/questions.

  • 2. Concepts acquisition

– Report on acquired concepts (described in correct business- related terms), methods and tools and their relevance to address the challenge/question, with related justifications.

  • 3. Data collection

– Report on observations made and used to address the challenge/question by applying the concepts, methods and tools.

– Analysis and interpretation of results; strategic recommendations and report on action to address the RQ/challenge based on the concepts chosen and data collected – Includes justified description of the contributions, and significance of the results and added value of the contribution.

– What are the added value and learnings for the challenge/question and case? – What were the main encountered challenges and how did team tackle them / made decisions? – What was team organization and specific contributions of the team members? – Reflection on the applicability of the concepts, methods and tools. – Reflection on how the I&E Study inspires students’ Master Thesis and/or internship.

Assessment and grading procedures

  • Final grade is based for 65% on the group

assignment grade and 35% on the individual assignment grade.

  • Group Assignment:

– 50% of the grade is based on ‘business analysis competence’ grading criteria’, another 50% on ‘general I&E competence’ grading criteria based on the ILOs of the course.

  • Individual assignment

– The grading of the individual assignment is for 50% based on the total grade of the online module assignment (P2P review), and for 50% based on the grade for the final assignment.
