Project Overview
- Grind and pave Interstate 5 between
mile points 112.64 and 117.74
- Construct northbound and southbound
climbing lanes over Roberts Mountain; mile points 115.30 to 117.70
- All widening for the climbing lanes will
be to the west side of I-5.
- ODOT is requesting a Sunrise/Sunset
exemption of 7pm to 7am.
- Daytime configuration: Two lanes each
direction with 28’ clearance
- Nighttime configuration: Will allow a
single 14’ lane in one direction
- Deep pavement repair locations:
- Exit 113: route traffic via the
interchange ramps
- South Umpqua River: Single 13’ lane
