Project Overview

  • Grind and pave Interstate 5 between

mile points 112.64 and 117.74

  • Construct northbound and southbound

climbing lanes over Roberts Mountain; mile points 115.30 to 117.70

  • All widening for the climbing lanes will

be to the west side of I-5.

  • ODOT is requesting a Sunrise/Sunset

exemption of 7pm to 7am.

  • Daytime configuration: Two lanes each

direction with 28’ clearance

  • Nighttime configuration: Will allow a

single 14’ lane in one direction

  • Deep pavement repair locations:
  • Exit 113: route traffic via the

interchange ramps

  • South Umpqua River: Single 13’ lane
