  2. Organizational Overview Who We Are The Four Corners International Mission, Inc. (FCIM) is a nonprofit, faith- based mission organization. The vision for FCIM was established in 2001 after Pastor Charles Cato conducted his first missionary trip to Guyana. These efforts have grown over the years and culminated in the incorporation of FCIM. Our missionary work has led FCIM to the continents of Africa, South America and Europe affecting the lives of thousands of people in need. FCIM is a hands on ministry that is operated by volunteer workers who have a heart for people in need. Aiding people throughout the world gives FCIM an opportunity to share our faith in word and in deed. Mission FCIM is dedicated to biblical teaching, economic development, educational enrichment and medical programs to aid impoverished people throughout the world.

  3. Kenya Mission Trip Overview FCIM has been working in the region of Kenya for five years. The population in Kenya is estimated at 38 million, FCIM mainly works in the Baringo District where the population is estimated at 280,000, our primary work is done in the province of Rift Valley in Salawa where the population is 15,500. FCIM executes a two week mission trip to assist the residents in Salawa. During this period FCIM has provided the following services: • Set up Medical Clinic  Eye examination with distribution of prescription glasses and non prescription sun glasses  Minor/general surgical procedures • Provide over-the-counter and prescription medication • Perform Family Health Workshops • Provide Clothing and Hygiene Products • Set up water and sanitation system • Distribution of rice and corn

FCIM’s efforts can be divided into several categories in Kenya: Spiritual, Economic, Medical, Wells/Sanitation and Education Spiritual Development   Conducts biblical crusades  Counsel and assist families/individuals with their relationship with God. Economic Development   Provide non perishable food and seeds to grow food.  Provide clothing, shoes, eye glasses, toiletries.  Provide monetary funds for projects  Donate laptop computers to schools to facilitate communication and provide them with easier access to information.

FCIM at Work in Kenya Medical  Provide medication and medical supplies,  Provide the necessary equipment for testing and health diagnostics,  Distribute prescription and over-the-counter medications at the discretion of the doctors based on the client’s diagnostic evaluation,  Provide effective medication to halt and begin to reverse the spread of malaria and other major diseases in Kenya.  Wells and Sanitation Systems  Drill wells to provide a permanent source of uncontaminated water and sanitation systems.  Provide clean and safe drinking water,  Decrease the time and distance it takes to transport water.

  6. FCIM at Work in Kenya  Education  Perform health seminars,  Provide group or individual patient counseling sessions,  Train community leaders in programs that will be useful for this project and for future initiatives,  Train families on the principles of health and hygiene.
