In the Message you have the patient’s name and telephone number that is on record for the patient. Then you can send the message to others in the system and if you select include me, your name will be placed in the To: line. By selecting Save to the Chart the message will be saved to the patient’s chart in Reports and Documents under the Messages folder. You also have the ability to set Reminders, so if you want to send yourself or anyone else a reminder to be sure that you follow‐up then you can do so at the bottom of the message.
