  11. HVJ Class of 2021 Class Rank / GPA / Honor Graduate  CLASS RANK IS BASED SOLELY ON YOUR COMPLETE GPA and the number of students in your grade level.  GPA’s CHANGE ONLY WHEN CREDIT IS AWARDED – The GPA currently showing will not change until the end of current semester.  FINAL SELECTIONS: Valedictorian, Salutatorian, Honor Graduates are determined after 1 st semester of senior year.  HONOR GRADUATE: Only students who have attained an overall 90 cumulative average or above (with no rounding up) will be considered for designation as Honor Graduates.  AGAIN! There is no “rounding up”! A GPA of 89.975 WILL NOT QUALIFY for Honor Graduate status. WHILE WE DO NOT SHARE RANKINGS, HONOR GRAD STATUS, ETC., IT IS COMMONLY DISCUSSED AMONG THE STUDENTS DUE TO THE INFORMATION BEING AVAILABLE TO THE STUDENTS ON THEIR TRANSCRIPTS.

  12. HVJ Class of 2021 Transcripts o What is my GPA? - Look at the far right side of the transcript. How do I know my Class Rank?- Look at the far right side of the transcript. o Will I be an Honor Graduate?- Honor Graduates require a 90.0 at the end of the 1 st semester of their senior year. If you have an 89.9 you are NOT an Honor Graduate! o How do I request a transcript?- We recommend students take advantage of www.gafutures.org for most requests (these are sent electronically and ensure quick delivery). Otherwise the School Counseling Center will need a signed request form.
