  1. NNEE BICH’O NII (TANF) “HELPING THE PEOPLE SERVICES!” San Carlos Apache Tribe TANF/Public Transit Director FY16 GOALS ADOT & SCAT Partnership Meeting-July 28, 2015

FY16 GOALS  Continue WPR rate of 48.7% Families Participating!  Continue Employment Placements @ 150 to 223 per year !  Will Operate four sectors: Eligibility, Employment/Training/Education, Compliance, and Public Transit !  Currently, Serving over 4,000+ families under our DHHS TANF Grant and 22,891 Riders per year and have traveled 167,477 revenue miles per year !  Public Transit Substation opens October 1, 2015, for 75% of Drivers & Buses to be parked @ Cutter Airport for easier access.  Renovate our front office to add eligibility determination’s population with (2) Security Officers hired for Day and Night Surveillance, On-site Investigator (OSI) position will advertise October 1, 2015, and Adult/Youth Intervention Coordinator.  Receive our 33 – Passenger bus by August 2015 & FY17 (3) Coach Buses from ADOT on order will arrive!  Public Transit Bus Run from San Carlos/Bylas/Safford/Globe to Hon dah to begin Seven Runs to Hon dah and in return Apache Gold Casino Run from White Mtn as well for the Stay & Play package September 2015.  TAS Goes live November 1, 2015-meaning independent from DES for Eligibility Determinations for Cash Assistance (CA). Our People will no longer have to travel to Safford & Globe for CA.  Substation-Grand Opening!

  3. FY16 ON-GOING SERVICES  Serving our Apache Elders Populations!  Serving our TANF Youth Populations!  Providing TANF Services for Cash Assistance in Eligibility, Employment, Education, and Transportation Services for the People!  Communication Services in the Development of our TAS into our Community!  Partnerships with Cobre Valley Transit (CVT), ADOT, DES, TAS, AZTA, TAC, Member of Gila & Pinal County Workforce Bds, DOT, FTA TTP, BIA, Tribal Social Services, Planning, Wellness, all Tribal Departments, GLOBE, Safford, SEAGO, CAG,IHS, Police Department, Tribal Transportation Committees, Health & Welfare Committees, EAC, SC Campus, SCTI, Gila Pueblo, and TANF Six Tribes with DES Coalition Group and many more!
