BUFFERED BIKE LANES

PAINTED BUFFER

LAKE HAZEL AND EAGLE ROAD INTERSECTION FALL 2020 • ADA COUNTY HIGHWAY DISTRICT

ACHD’s Roadways to Bikeways Master Plan calls for more robust bike lanes along these types of roadways. BUFFERED BIKE LANES: Utilize a painted bufger to provide more space between vehicles and bicyclists, which increases safety. Are used on roads with higher speeds and trafgic volumes.
