Russ Branzell, President & CEO, CHIME (@CHIMECEO & @CIOCHIME) • President and CEO of all CHIME enterprises, which includes CHIME, CHIME Foundation, CHIME Education Foundation, CHIME Technologies and AEHIX. • Prior to joining CHIME as President and CEO in April 2013, Branzell served as CEO for the Colorado Health Medical Group. • Before serving as CEO of Colorado Health, he was the VP of IS and CIO for Poudre Valley Health System and the President/CEO of Innovation Enterprises (PVHS' for-profit IS entity). • Before joining PVHS, Branzell was the Regional Deputy CIO and Executive Director of Information Services for Sisters of Mercy Health System in St. Louis, Mo. • Before his time in St. Louis, Branzell served on active duty in the United States Air Force and retired from the Air Force Reserves in 2008. While on active duty, he served in numerous healthcare administration positions including CIO for the Air Mobility Command Surgeon General’s Office. In 1996, he was selected for the Air Force Medical Service Fellowship program and completed a CIO Internship at the Unity Health System in St. Louis. Marc Probst, VP/CIO, Intermountain Healthcare (probst_marc) • Marc Probst is VP/CIO at Intermountain Healthcare, an integrated delivery network (IDN) based in Salt Lake City, Utah. • Marc is a nationally recognized CIO who has served on the Federal HIT Policy Committee which assisted in developing Policy for the U.S. Government. • Marc has been involved with IT and healthcare services for the past 32 years. • Prior to Intermountain, Marc was a partner with two large professional service organizations; Deloitte Consulting and Ernst & Young, serving healthcare provider and payer organizations. • Marc has significant interest in the use of IT to increase patient care quality and lower the costs of care. Bob Cash, VP, Provider Relations, KLAS • Bob Cash recently began a “second career” as a leader with KLAS Research Enterprises in Orem, Utah. • Bob is overseeing their provider relations and providing insight to the company regarding healthcare operations; an area in which Bob has significant experience. In 2015, Cash co- authored KLAS’ report regarding interoperability and is leading this year’s current effort on the topic. • Prior to joining KLAS, Bob worked for nearly 30 years in healthcare hospital leadership roles, the past 18 years at Intermountain Healthcare. Positions have included CEO, COO, and CFO responsibilities over the span of his career. • He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from BYU and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
