Questions?

slide-21
SLIDE 21

Body Text

Question and Answers

Q: : With all of us working from home now and needing to rely on additional cardboard boxes our recycling is overflowing. Is there any way to get the recycling picked up weekly to

  • vercome the stress caused by us being home?

A: The Waste Connections (WC) schedule is set, however, a resident can always contact WC with 48 hour notice to let them know there will be additional items outside of the cart that need to be picked up as well. Please note that there may be an additional fee and that items should be bundled securely.

Question and Answers

Q: : Roxborough Metro District worked out a “Resident” rate with Foothills Park and Recreation District? Is this something Sterling Ranch is doing? We have no where to take our children for sports and lessons at a residential

  • rate. It would be nice to have this option.

A: We haven’t yet but it is certainly something that we can

  • explore. The CAB has a history of creating partnerships with other

entities in the past and will continue to do this in the future. Kate will be putting together a list of all partnerships, special rates or access acquired for Sterling Ranch Residents. This list will be located on the CAB website within the next few weeks.

Question and Answers

Q: : With all the construction and wind, I’ve been noticing a lot of trash in the common areas. I’m wondering if you have a plan for cleanup or should we organize a cleanup day? A: The CAB will regularly oversee builders to police their sites and perform the clean up of Trash in the CAB common areas on a regular basis. We ask residents to do their part as well and not

  • verflow your trash containers or put them out early before trash

day.

Question and Answers

Q: Can rules be amended currently so that residents can install their own playgrounds right now in their own yards without going through design process to fill an immediate need since all playgrounds are closed state wide? A: The DRC is still meeting 2x per month so we encourage you to look at the Design Guidelines when considering your submittal. If all of the boxes are checked, approval can be quick. Amending or changing the rules takes longer than submitting the actual plan.

Question and Answers

Q: What will CAB do to account for additional indoor water use due to the Stay at Home order? A: The CAB is going to evaluate water usage before water bills go

  • ut.

Body Text

Question and Answers

Q: Will there be trout fishing or frisbee golf in Providence Gulch? A: Providence Gulch is a designated regional park and will have recreational

  • pportunities for Sterling Ranch residents. Douglas County has required that

area to solve regional drainage and as such the CAB is still working with Douglas County on those detention and drainage requirements. After finalization and approval by Douglas County for detention and drainage, park planning and improvements will follow.
