THe Middle School Philosophy
At HMS, we employ a grade level team philosophy. This means that students on a specific team will all have the same 4 core (math, science, lang. arts, social studies) teachers. Benefits of teaming: ✓ Increased teacher and parent communication ✓ Better teacher and student relationships ✓ Coordination of planning and curriculum Two 6th grade teams: 61 and 62

Viking Time

Viking time builds unity in the school building, promotes Haslett pride and teaches good behaviors and work habits.
