STANDARD STUDENT CONTRACT The CPE-approved Student Contract is a legal contract that binds both School of Music and the Arts Pte Ltd and the student that embodies the following mandatory requirements: 1. Clear definition of course details – course title, pre-requisites, qualification awarded, course duration 2. Full disclosure of all costs for course fees and miscellaneous fees 3. Commitment to Fee Protection Scheme (School of Music and the Arts Pte Ltd has adopted the LONPAC Insurance BHD Insurance scheme for its students) 4. Clear definition of refund policies Students may request for a copy of the PEI-Student Contract from School of Music and the Arts Pte Ltd (info@soma.edu.sg) or view it on the CPE website (www.ssg.gov.sg)

  18. STANDARD STUDENT CONTRACT Each enrolled student of the School will sign a standard Student Contract, where one copy will be given to the student. Each Student Contract is meant for admission to one course only and individual student contracts will be entered with each student admitted into the courses offered. Any amendments made to the Student Contract must be accompanied with an acknowledgement signatory by both the school staff and student. If a student wishes to repeat a module, a new Student Contract (or addendum) has to be issued. The execution of the Student Contract shall be in accordance with the Operation Manual on Procedures for Executing Student Contract.

  19. STANDARD STUDENT CONTRACT The terms and conditions of the contract are to be explained to each student and it is the responsibility of the school to ensure that each student fully understands them. Both the student and the school should acknowledge any amendments made to the contract. The School shall ensure that a template of the Student Contract is made available for prospective students on the School Website. The Student Contract Execution procedures will be reviewed on an annual basis for continual improvement by the Independent Internal Process Auditor through the IPRAA. Note: CPE’s Standard PEI-Student Contract should be adopted for all students recruited.

  20. STANDARD STUDENT CONTRACT Cooling-Off Period School of Music and the Arts Pte Ltd will provide the Student with a cooling-off period of 7 working days after the date that the Contract has been signed by both parties. The student will be refunded the highest percentage (stated in Schedule D) of the fees already paid if the Student submits a written notice of withdrawal to the School of Music and the Arts Pte Ltd within the cooling-off period, regardless of whether the Student has started the course or not.

  21.   22. STUDENT PASS Cancellation Online Application Student must return their Student Passes to Online Student Pass Application ICA within 7 days after the end of their www.ica.gov.sg courses. PEI will inform ICA of foreign students’ departure dates from Singapore. No foreign student may stay in Singapore after his/her pass expires
