- Unexplained absences may result in truancy
filings on you and possibly your parents.

DRESSCODE:
- A. Shirt: White, Black, Gray, Navy, Blue, Yellow, or Purple (Must be a solid color)
- 1. Short- or long-sleeve solid color polo or Oxford type with collar.
- 2. Must be buttoned to within 2 buttons from top.
- 3. All shirts must be tucked in while at school.
- 4. Logos, artwork, or embroidery must be less than 2” by 2”.
- 5. No denim material or denim-type material is permitted.
- 6. MUST BE TUCKED IN
- B. Undershirt: White, Black, Gray, Navy, Blue, Yellow, or Purple (Must be a solid color)
- 1. Turtlenecks may be worn under a collared shirt but must be White, Black, Gray,
Navy, Blue, Yellow, or Purple (Must be a solid color).
- C. Sweaters / Sweatshirts: White, Black, Gray, Navy, Blue, Yellow, or Purple (Must be a
solid color)
- 1. Logos, artwork, or embroidery, must be less than 2” by 2”.
- 2. Must be worn over a collared standard attire shirt.
- 3. Collar bust be visible.

DRESSCODE:
- A. Pants / Shorts / Skirts: Navy, Tan or Khaki
- 1. No knit or stretch materials.
- 2. No Cargo pants or cargo pockets allowed.
- 3. If garment has belt loops, student must wear a belt.
- 4. Garments are to be fitted and not baggy. Sagging will not be allowed. MISD one-
size rule will be enforced.
- 5. Logos or labels must be less than 2” by 2”.
- 6. No ripped or torn clothing; garments must be hemmed.
- 7. Skirts and shorts can only be 3 inches above the knee (including the slit on skirt).
- 8. Clothing is to be worn at the waist at all times (no sagging).
- B. Belts
- 1. Must be black or brown.
- 2. Spikes are not allowed on belts.

Spirit shirts / college shirts: Only worn on Fridays or designated days. MFHS, MHS, or any MFHS or MHS organizational spirit shirt, or college shirt, may be worn on designated “Spirit Days”. Shirts must be tucked in at all times and worn with standard attire pants, skirts or
- shirts. Spirit shirts do not have to be collared. No homemade spirit
shirts or pants will be allowed. College Shirts can be worn on the first day of the week, and on Fridays.
ALL BACKPACKS, BAGS, JACKETS, HOODIES MUST BE PLACED IN YOUR LOCKER BEFORE FIRST PERIOD.

TARDIES:
- Must report to a tardy station
- 3 warnings = use them wisely!
- Tardies 4-9 = lunch detention
- Tardies 10-12 = 2 days ISS
- Tardies 13-14 = 3 days ISS
- Tardies 15+ = 3 days ISS PLUS TRUANCY

CELL PHONES:
- Students must obtain prior approval before using personal
telecommunications or other personal electronic devices.
- The use of mobile telephones or any device capable of
capturing images is strictly prohibited in locker rooms or restroom areas (could lead to serious consequences).
1st Offense: Pick up after school 2nd Offense: Lunch Detention, phone to be picked up after school by parent 3rd Offense: Lunch Detention, $15.00 Charge and phone to be picked up after school by parent.

FOOD AND DRINK:
- Respect your campus
- No Food/Drinks in the Classrooms
- Place trash in trashcans upon entering campus
Students are not allowed, by law, to carry medication on their person while at school. If you have any medical condition, accurately complete the health
- card. The school nurse needs an accurate phone number in case she
needs to contact your parents. Medicine must be taken to the school nurse in its original container. Prescribed inhalers may be carried on your person if you have filed the correct paperwork with the school nurse. Shot records must be up-to-date.

Lockers
- Lockers will be provided to place backpacks,
jackets and other various belongings.
- Lockers are not to be shared.
- If you do not have a locker, please see Mr.
Andrews so that you may be provided one.
