MASTER U’ BNP PARIBAS

Created in 2006 by the French University Sport Federation, the French Tennis Federation, in partnership with BNP Paribas " partner of all tennis ", the Master'U BNP Paribas is the world event of university tennis. This team event competition is an original formula, kind of mix between Fed Cup and Davis Cup, gathering 8 nations with 6 players (3 players and 3 players) For each confrontation, the teams play 7 matches : 2 women single matches, 2 men single matches, 1 ladies doubles, 1 men doubles and 1 mixed, decisive double in case of draw at the end of the first 6 matches. For 2018 and 2019, the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes University Sport League, in partnership with the Auvergne Rhône- Alpes Tennis League, will organise the Master U’BNP Paribas, The competition will be held in the League Center at Seyssins, a city in the outskirts of Grenoble, capital of the Alps.

A student event

The Master'U BNP Paribas has for vocation to allow students to be totally integrated into its organization. It establishes an exceptional tool of formation, an event mades " for students, by students ". The Auvergne Rhône-Alpes University Sport League, in partnership with the University Grenoble Alpes, will allow some students to be in the heart of an international sport event whether it is to welcome teams, communication, live-scoring, translation, hostess, or the follow-up of the competition.

Access

Grenoble is located at 90km from Lyon Airport and 150km from Geneva Airport (Switzerland). The organisation will take care of the delegations during the entire event, from the pick at the airport (Lyon or Geneva) to the transports between the hotel to the League Center.
