Loft Insulation Top-ups ok, not replacement Install 270-300 mm Keep it ventilated
Cavity Wall Insulation ~ 1930s to 1980s homes Look for brick pattern filled-in bore holes confirm insulation already installed
Solid Wall Insulation Usually 1930s and before External Wall Insulation Internal Wall Insulation Needs an expert – following PAS2035
Under floor Insulation Usually pre-1950s Suspended & Solid floor
Flat Roof Insulation External or internal
Insulating a park home experienced Installer
Heat Pumps Efficient electric heating: Ground- Source Air-Source
Solar Thermal liquid filled flat plate or evacuated tube collectors NOT solar electric, but see: Solar Together, Horsham / Sussex for group-buying of PV + optional battery
Biomass boilers Wood-pellet boilers, not wood burning stoves
GHG Secondary Measures £ capped by primary’s value • draught proofing • double/triple glazed windows • secondary glazing • external energy efficient doors • hot water tank insulation, thermostats and heating controls

Apply for Voucher, Manage Installer Choose one quote and apply for a GHG Voucher – from Oct 1 st If you receive a voucher, tell the installer and: Planning Permission? maybe for: EWI, Heat Pump, Solar Thermal Agree with installer: the work, details, schedule, payments Check & ‘manage’ the work - near end: agree a snagging list Installer completes work & redeems voucher before 31 March Hooray!
