  • Upon entering 9th grade, a student must indicate in writing an

endorsement he/she intends to earn.

  • “Before the conclusion of the school year, the student & the student’s parent or guardian

must confirm & sign a Personal Graduation Plan for the student. A student may amend the PGP; the school shall send written notice to the student’s parents regarding the change.” (Texas Education Code Chapter 28)

  • A student may earn an endorsement by successfully completing:
  • The Foundation (22 credits) plus the following:
  • Curriculum Requirements for the Endorsement
  • 1 additional MATH credit
  • 1 additional SCIENCE credit
  • 2 additional ELECTIVE credits

CTE Sequence

and Chemistry and/or Physics

  • Four (4) credits in advanced placement (AP) or dual credit courses to be

selected from the following areas: English, math, science, social studies, economics, LOTE, or fine arts
