Assignments, exercises, presentation ● You will create a student home page , a web page to showcase all your work for the assignments in this course ● There are 6 assignments, As01, As02, …, As06 ● Exercises are optional, but highly recommended ● Assignments are all web pages or web applications Assignments are ungraded until you deliver your final presentation , that is, ● you will not receive a specific grade for each assignment but instead you will get an overall grade for your final presentation ● Add each assignments to your student home page . At the end of the course, you will present what you have done in a final presentation . * Brochure-style sites: each student uses unique website content. See Canvas assignment for details. 3

  4. Quizzes ● 10 minutes (each), sometimes more 10 questions (one minute per question) ● ● One question at a time ● Quiz opens at precise time and closes at precise time ● All online - instant grading! 4

Coding Test ● 60 minutes Starts exactly at beginning of class ● ● You will code your work, and submit code in Canvas as text ● I will grade it that week and post grade by next class session ● Programming well means programming correctly, and quickly Coding test is a series of small but progressively more challenging JavaScript ● programs that manipulate HTML and CSS 5
