Current Issues and Challenges
Financial pressures - reduction in funding from Central Government in the region of 60% since 2010 Growing demand and pressure on services – working with reduced budgets puts the current way we deliver individual services at risk - services may need redesigning to meet current and future needs On-going maintenance costs of inefficient, ageing buildings that existing services operate from Borough-wide pressures for new homes. Not enough homes being built to meet the needs of a growing population and waiting list
