FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT AP COURSES

Q: What does AP mean? A: Advanced Placement, a college-level course Q: How many AP classes should I take? A: Everyone is different, but students should be taking AP courses based on their interests and wanting to continually grow in a subject area. A full load in college in four classes. Think BALANCE! Q: Will I still get into a good college if I don’t take AP courses? A: YES! It’s not a competition. Base the college search off of best fit for you. Q: How much homework will I have in AP classes? A: More than CP/AS classes! If students are staying up past midnight doing homework this year, they should not overload themselves.
