The biggest proportion of Theft & Handling offences are Other Theft (38.0%), Theft from a Motor Vehicle (22.3%) and Theft from Shops (10.6%) offences. When broken down by Ward the highest rate of Theft & Handling offences occurred in Parsons Green and Walham.

The number of theft from a motor vehicle offences have decreased by 21.9% since 2011-12 from 752 to 587 in 2014-15. However there has been a 3.2% increase since 2013-14 from 569 to 587

When broken down by Ward the highest rates of Theft from Motor Vehicle offences occurred in Parsons Green & Walham and Palace Riverside.

The number of Violence Against the Person offences has increased by 5.0% since 2010-11 from 1,280 to 1,344 in 2014-15. There has been a 31.9% increase since 2013-14 from 1,019 to 1,344. This has been mainly caused by changes in recording of Violent offences. When compared across London LBHF has experienced the 14th (out of 32) smallest percentage increase.

The total number of burglary offences has decreased by 52.3% since 2010-11 from 740 to 348 in 2014-15. When broken down by Ward, the highest rates of Burglary in Dwelling offences per 1,000 households occurred in Munster and Parsons Green and Walham.

The number of Theft from a Person offences has decreased by 21.7% since 2012-13 from 253 to 198 in 2014-15. The number of Personal Robbery offences has decreased by 44% since 2010-11 from 171 to 96 in 2014-15.

The number of noise nuisance complaints recorded by the Council has increased by 22.9% from 2,146 in 2012-13 to 2,637 in 2014-15. The majority of these complaints were for Domestic Noise.
