Computer Drafted Rosters

Our new system, Blue Sombrero, automatically drafts teams. Only pairing requests will be made for the children

  • f Head Coach and Assistant Coach – no other

requests will be honored. Uniforms are blind ordered based on 46+ years of experience and distributed to players via best-fit available method. Only uniform changes will be made for drastic sizing issues.

  • NFHS – Concussion Course – 30 minute online
  • All coaches must complete both activities above.

Who Plays Where?

Oak Grove is Broken down into different sections for different field sizes.

40’s fields (includes #39) – West side as you drive in from Social Row. Mostly played by U8-U12. 50’s fields – centrally located in the middle of Oak Grove. These are 11v11 fields – U14 & High School 60’s field – East side of park, abuts Gebhart Road. Used by U5-U8. Please note that is unlawful to park along Gebhart Road.

Concussion Signs & Symptoms

  • Athletes do not have to be “knocked out” to have a concussion. In fact, less than

1 out of 10 concussions result in loss of consciousness. Concussion symptoms can develop right away or up to 48 hours after the injury. Signs Observed by Parents of Guardians:

  • Appears dazed or stunned.
  • Is confused about assignment or position.
  • Forgets plays.
  • Is unsure of game, score or opponent.
  • Moves clumsily.
  • Answers questions slowly.
  • Loses consciousness (even briefly).
  • Shows behavior or personality changes (irritability, sadness, nervousness,

feeling more emotional).

  • Can’t recall events before or after hit or fall.

Please visit the Dog Park rather than bring you dog (or mini horse 😁) with you to your son’s or daughter’s soccer match. It’s a safety thing. Games are short and they would rather spend time with you at the park another time or waiting for you at home (not in your hot car, either).
