Our Project: Eva’s Story

  • Help maintain and preserve a Holocaust survivor

named Eva’s story

  • She had a profound impact on the world as a leading

advocate for justice for those (especially twins) who were tested and abused in these camps

  • Helped to bring a first person perspective to the

horrors of concentration camps during WWII

  • Brought education about that time in history to

places around the world, but specifically in Indiana

Our End Goal for the Semester

  • Make a virtual garden that lives on a WFYI website that allows

users to create and plant flowers with a message about how Eva’s story has affected them and their lives ○ Make it so other people’s flowers are visible to users

  • Sharing capability to spread the word about Eva’s story and this

garden project

  • Roll this out along with the 75th anniversary of the liberation

from Auschwitz
