The German Didacta Fair is nowadays the largest school, education and training business fair in Europe. In 2017 Didacta International decided to launch its fjrst international spin off, choosing Florence as venue of the fjrst Italian Didacta fair, focused on the school, education and training business cluster.

In Italy, the main fjgures of this sector are constantly growing, also thanks to the renovated consideration received by the recent Italian central government

This fjrst edition was a complete success with: In order to be able to involve each potential operator Firenze Fiera, the organising body of Didacta Italia, decided to broaden the scientifjc partnership to the main national and local school and education institutions. Therefore, an Organising Committee has been created, involving the Ministry of Education, Didacta International, Tuscany Region, Florence Municipality, Italian Union of Chambers

commerce for Germany, Destination Florence Convention & Visitors Bureau.
THE EXHIBIT AREA
The Florence exhibition centre where Didacta Italia will take place is a unique location, inside the famous Fortezza Da Basso fortress, itself a renaissance architectural masterpiece, positioned exactly in the city centre. A unique fairground position, compared to other European cities, just at 5 minutes walking distance from the main railway station, with a wide range of hotel accommodation solutions from the tiny and affordable b&b, to the most luxurious hotels.
