• Option 1 – Adding on to Prouty-Chew
• Option 2 – Building a new facility at Rose Hill
• Option 3 - Leasing/buying/building a space

• Existing Spaces – old DeSales High School,

Trinity Church, Pinkie’s, Dove Block, former Stomping Grounds building

• Lots within the town and city – Old Gilotti Gas

Station and corner of North and Exchange Streets

• Leasing – old Tops building and office park on

County Rd. 6

Option 3

• After careful consideration, Option 3 is no longer a

viable option.

– Existing spaces

• Spaces were too big or too small
• High costs (purchase price, utilities, and retro-fitting a building)

– Town and City Lots

• Town lots proved to be too expensive
• City lots were unavailable

– Leasing

• Concerns about not being in control of the building and its

maintenance

• Concerns about the lease not being renewed.

Option 1 - Prouty-Chew

• Installing an elevator that

would go from the sub- basement to the 2nd floor

• Building on top of the

Hucker Gallery and Archival Vault to create additional space for collections storage and exhibits

• Renovating bathrooms
• Modifying the outside

entrance to the Hucker Gallery.
