Pottery is the most traditional local handicraft. It has a decorative purpose today but it used to have a practical characteristic in the past: pitchers, bowls, urns, and large earthenware jars. The most typical ceramic piece is the “Iberian Bull”, inspired by the head of a small Iberian bull discovered in the village of Huete and currently on display in the Museo de Cuenca.
